was chatting in MoM kingdom today and figured that it's worth making a few notes so that others can see.
having multiple worlds going on at the same time appeals to an audience that wants "fresh" and will naturally cause population declines in the forever server. having different types of servers will leave some servers mostly empty. this is because almost everyone will only play one flavor of the game. all of these things i have observed playing WoW Classic ERA, so i know it's just a fact that player counts will not be the same when a new server pops.
i understand that there is a crowd of players that want low player counts because they enjoy having resources all to themselves. does jorbtar want a server to be smaller or does he want it to be larger? is there an intended experience at all?

Re: parallel worlds
The devs don't think about how game changes affect how the game is played, they just think "winter would be neat" and add it, even if it makes the game worse.Girth wrote:is there an intended experience at all?
