The charterstone was Cheeki Norsca. Is the destruction verified? (I'm not going there to see, lol.) Is there another public well? Of course you may not want to mention here or Snail will go looking for it.

It's destroyed. Replica could be made by Snail on same place and used as bait to catch hermits and kill them.
Not sure what the point is of dropping this only in the OP. (economics perhaps)
I announced it in both discords, not only in forum.

"Cheeki Norsca" is now my market charterstone name, so Snail couldn't use this name on his charterstone to catch hermits.

It's not safe. Do not sail to the well nor teleport.

God, he's so annoying. Doesn't he have any other games on his PC?

Ok. I'm kinda conservative with added discord channels.

Annoying ...irritating... But he isn't breaking any rules or, as far as I know, cheating the game; he's just a very experienced player who loves to kill and destroy. I daresay he is as advanced after the first thirty days of a world as the average player is after 100 days. But unlike many who advance that quickly then get bored and quit, awaiting the next world, he stays around ...hunting.

Apparently whoever was maintaining Cheeki Norsca was killed or quit. There was always someone asleep on a mat beside a study desk on the other side of the wall from the well. No one was there the last couple of times I went for water. So I guess once the claim started decaying Snail moved in.

Hope there's another well around, I have two cisterns full of Cheeki water then it's back to the q25 in a pond in a cave.

Your guess is wrong. Well was maintained. And even though village runned out of authority once, there always was personal claim that takes 3 months at least to start decaying. Charterstone was blocked first with objects, so people couldn't alarm me through discord about siege or it was unlucky enough so noone ever came to check what's up. Then it was sieged while i was at 24hour shift.

"Your guess is wrong."

Isn't the first time. Nor likely is it the last. Just going by what I saw the last 3-4 trips there.

If you were the owner, thanks for creating the well for us.

This here is probably #1 example why Hafen is basically dead on Steam (mixed).

Having a no-life basement dwellers like that slimy thing around,
effectively ensures a tiny to none influx of new players.

Seasoned players, who were lucky to find this gem some years earlier,
before his mom bought him a PC and locked the basement door for good,
will surely have enough experience to avoid this nuisance.
But new players? Forget it.
I hate you! Yes, you!
How does it matter when you die? Today? In hundred years? What will be left of you after millennia?

haven sometimes is like a mini West, lots of freedom and you can do anything, but the result is isolation, violence, banal vulgarity

an alt pve server could try anti-grief limitations over claiming, building, terraforming, placing, etc
