I haven't received any experience points for my activity for almost two months now. How can this be and why aren't they being awarded?
Is this some kind of bug?
I play daily and complete a huge number of activities. Previously, I could get 2-3 events in 1 day, but now that hasn't happened for almost 2 months!

Re: Experience points broken?
Try to force an experience event, for example:
- "Having a Seat" - get a chair and sit / stand up until an event is triggered
- "Things Piling Up" - place stockpiles

Re: Experience points broken?
Experience events are intentionally a "black box" so that people can't minmax/abuse it. Current leading theory is that every character effectively a "queue" for upcoming events that can trigger if the conditions are met. Your character's queue has possibly been "clogged" by a collection of specific Experience events that have conditions not filled by your routine activities.
Start by doing simple things like "carve text into a Runestone" and "build a gate" (even one made of sticks is fine for the event.)

If all else fails, you can do (non-Credo) quests to restock on EXP.

Yeah, you just have to do something weird that you haven't done in a while. Usually it's something stupid like mountain at dawn or lift a table or something like that.

Re: Experience points broken?
Can confirm that i've fixed this issue in the past by looking at a list of EXP triggers and trying to get the less common ones to happen. once a couple occur, the 'usual' ones feel like they're freed up again

Re: Experience points broken?
EXP not a issue for experienced players, just use "From the Public Coffer" if you are a faction player or have good friends in faction. EXP is only a issue for all the rest nabs that are not capable of having a realm or having good friends that own a realm.
Skill Authority Cost Effect
From the Public Coffer 2000 (increases with use) Gives you 1000 experience points.

It is very OP. That's why you don't see big bois complaining about EXP drain, therefore nothing will ever be changed, devs will stick to their EXP larp

Re: Experience points broken?
I always had hundreds of thousands of exp from questing.
I was questing more than your average hermit (cause I like questing), but you should still be able to get enough exp from a few quests.
Also EXP events reset every 2-3 days. If you want to force-trigger EXP events, try to go for something you haven't gotten recently (last 10 exp events you got so far).
Some people also create an area where they can try to do multiple exp events (like standing under a willow tree and interacting with it, planting a tree, lifting a table, sitting down to eat at a table, kissing under a mistle toe, etc.)
Check this list: https://ringofbrodgar.com/wiki/Experience_Points
Sometimes the pool of available exp events you have just sucks.
If you're a hunter and go out often looking for animals, you'll always pass by localized resources and animals, so it should be easy.
