I have the same problem and get the error msg:

Code: Select all

Could not import map: Cannot invoke "haven.MapFile$Segment.include(long, haven.Coord)" because "x0" is null
whenever I try to import a map file.

I've tried several clients including the vanilla, Ender's and Nurgling but get the same error.

It's also not the map file that's corrupt as it works for other people and I've tried different files. I also cannot export my own map.

Does anyone have a solution for this?

Kami 'beta' worked for me, after Kami fixed it there.

BUT ... I personally only tested that is actually exported something. Or in other words: Make sure you have some proper backups, just in case. (its probably overkill ... but, well beta ...its your call.)

I managed to "solve" the problem by deleting the content of the 'AppData\Roaming\Haven and Hearth\Data' folder.

I lost my entire map but this enabled me to start mapping again and import/export map files.

I'm assuming that one of those data files became corrupted somehow.

If it was just one file/segment that would make sense to me. But it effects a lot of files/segments(52). Figure that kinda point's the finger to Ender's client.
Ditching all my cache files it not something I like to do, at least not yet.

Hmm, I guess I could try to export and import with Kami-beta client and see what that will do.

Yea. That fixed it.

1) Export with Kami-beta.
2) Test cleared HnH cache. (backup'ed ofc)
3) Import with vanilla.

All maps seemed to be restored and no map related issues spotted anymore in [Vanilla, Ender, Kami] clients.

Still wondering what triggered the issue in the first place. (maybe something for later)
