Re: Another Mapping Service
still looking for maps for the public map
if anyone wants to contribute, you can export the maps from your client, upload the file to some file host and I will add it to the map https://hnhmap.xyz/public/public

Re: Another Mapping Service
I have added a button to upload maps that you can export from your client to the public map, just to make it easier

Re: Another Mapping Service
I've added a cookbook, it is private tenant based (your private map instance and the people in your private map instance can only see the food from your cookbook)
Some extra stuff: you can create panels of foods, that are shared between the people on your private map instance. Also favorite foods.
Cookbook food uploads is only available in Hurricane and Kami at the moment.

I pasted the token into the Kami client, but when I try to save it, it says it's invalid. What could be the problem? http://server_ip/token_from_dashboard

Re: Another Mapping Service
I successfully connected the client to the mapper. I have a question: in the System menu, clicking the 'Save Database' button results in an error stating that the database has not been saved. How else can I back up the database?

Re: Another Mapping Service
What was the issue? I might make any new deployments easier if it was anything related to that. I haven't deployed to a new server in a while, so not aware of the issues or if I have forgot something, the deploy example files might be outdated.yokoto1 wrote:I successfully connected the client to the mapper. The database is just a single SQLite grids.db file, you can copy/paste that file for backup, but for full backup you will also want to back up all the tile images which you can also just do by copying the files, which should be in <data-directory>/tenants/default-tenant-1 or w/e folder. As for the button not working, I have to look into that.

Re: Another Mapping Service
don't know what exactly is the cause of this and there was someone else that reported this a while back, could be either one of these:magnet wrote:
- Browser
- The .xyz domain, which is not very popular but is very cheap and some ISP/network providers might not like (the most promising explanation since it works for other 90%+ people in any browser)
- The HTTPS certificate on my server
- SSL/certificate misconfiguration, but there is nothing wrong with it as far as I can see
