MightySheep wrote: Realms are almost good but like I said literally nobody in the game is going to travel around checking every single 1 of the 100 thingwalls too see if maybe someone is capturing it. They still take too many months to spread worldwide. Thingwalls should either be bundled into capturable zone of like 5-10 thingwalls or you need to just give us all the info for anyone to even think of bothering with engaging. Like so:
I also previously said that if bashing the realm challenge gave us the materials required to make it, then it provide the bare minimum value of bothering to do it when no defenders turns up. Same way bashing thingpeace makes the gold pop out.
- Add some sort of political map where Realms can see their current extent, Thingwalls, and the next challenge windows/other relevant info for them, perhaps with a heatmap or w/e indicating which Thingwalls can soon be challenged. Consider a challenge/event log.
- Quicken pace of challenge windows generally to allow Realms to spread faster.
- Return some amount of building materials when bashing Realm challenges to provide some reward for preventing challenges.
I don't quite understand this point. Realms are notified by tracking indicators when their Thingwalls are challenged, and should not have to travel around to see that, no? Are we talking about neutral Thingwalls? Could you expand a bit on this. Sorry for being a slowboi!nobody in the game is going to travel around checking every single 1 of the 100 thingwalls too see if maybe someone is capturing it.
Noted!Meteor is also almost good. Actually meteor is good .. reward is pretty meh. "Good objective" is just all about rewarding people. ... High end objectives should just give decorations. Ostentatious displays of wealth.

Will consider!noindyfikator wrote: - Make meteorites weekly event that happens during weekend where the most of us are available and make it easier to find
These are probably relatively uncontroversial fixes, and, indeed, speaking a bit to MightySheep's point there about having to travel around.noindyfikator wrote: - Fix the bullshit with building anything around Thingwall
- Idk how, but change Thingwall capture mechanics. Why do I need to visit every Thingwall around to check timer or if there is war flag (if the thingwall doesn't belong to my realm)
- As I mentioned in other thread, give us some kind of leaderboard. I would rather see a Kingdom is #1 or #2 or whatever rather than have x% more lp gain
Also while you read it
- please improve realm ui. Right now it displays ONLY number of captured Thingwalls. It doesn't even allow you to see which one do you have..
We tried a while back to introduce a rate-limit timer on stealing from k/os, but that was apparently highly controversial. Would not mind making changes here, but would also love to see some buy-in from the communitaah.- Controversy: Loot changes - many people refuse to join pvp because of full loot and we are left with 30 the same people fighting every world who can just bot gear and don't care about losing it. Meanwhile loot is in most cases pressing one button "drop all" without taking anything.

Yes Im talking about neutral ones because so far were almost 2 months in theres about 8 realms and we've bordered literally 1 of them, so far it hasnt produced a fight because both timers for it were at like 4am.jorb wrote:I don't quite understand this point. Your suggestions seem like a positive step to me. Not sure why return "some" building materials, were talking about 5 low ql steel bars lol its already very minimal.

The mega OP safepalis + nerfed to shit fast travel + no central continent world very predictably had no PVP. We should solve this with a weekly event people will go to 3 times per world until it's clear who the consistent winner will be

I didn't have the exact recipe avaliable in my head and just meant to say something generic about that you should get something back. Don't mind giving back something reasonably good. That was the idea behind the Thingpeace challenges, indeed.MightySheep wrote:Not sure why return "some" building materials, were talking about 5 low ql steel bars lol its already very minimal.

I don't need you to admit you're doing it. I need you to just let us know if you don't have time or whatever. I'd prefer to read a "no" in a thread rather than a "will consider" that never gets considered.jorb wrote:You're right, I suck!Nightdawg wrote:Didn't you ask for feedback and ideas when you announced world 16.1 and then proceeded to ghost the forums for a month and not read 130 pages of suggestions?
I suggest that you now leave a solid bookmark by this admission, such that you can refer to it at any time as a point perpetually conceded.
Further discussion can then happen from that baseline, and we need not relitigate the undisputed facts every time I may happen to hint at caring what you think.
^______^
Even a "hello I'm alive but I don't have time to read suggestions right now" every month would still be better, rather than 6 months of radio silence followed by 6 more. The radio silence is just awful. I know people like robben go "WE'RE SO BACK" every time you start posting on the forums for 3 days then vanish again for months, but he's not representing all of the community you've built here. I stopped buying gold subs because it feels like you're giving up, and you can see it from the amount of patches going from 40 per year to 12ish. I never cared about the hats, and I never will.
I used to see so many veterans actually suggesting good stuff, and being ignored 99% of the time, so they just gave up. I gave up too.
I'm not the only one feeling like this. Go prove me wrong, I really want you to do, but I'm not raising my hopes. I already did too many times.
I'm glad to see you replying to the suggestions on this thread, and not just my critique.

This is the way, my friend. I am not expecting otherwise, nor would I recommend doing otherwise, nor am I making promises. Talk, indeed, is quite cheap.Nightdawg wrote:I'm not the only one feeling like this. Go prove me wrong, I really want you to do, but I'm not raising my hopes. I already did too many times.
You're entire analysis is right, fwiw!
