I'd vote to keep Rage-less safe-palis, maybe give some indication of who is rageless when you're in combat
This doesn't work because the moment any voting system is implemented, bot accounts will skew the result.

And yes, I will be spending thousands of dollars on verifying new accounts if it came to this to skew the results in how I believe the game should be.

I don't have a problem with rage-less players or the current doors. In fact I love the current doors.
I myself needed rage to deal with someone at the start of this world to get off my wagon, there is reasons to force someone's hand to buy rage.

What we have is the lack of pvp events and things to pvp over and this thread shows it.
We need reasons to leave the bases, and reasons we can't run forever away, and things to make a mmo environment.
We need things that can't be easily camped and ways to stop safe palis all over the world.

But I dont think changing the current game mechanics is the way to go, and it's tiring seeing jorb and loftar tweak mechanics this way and that way for pvp over nearly 7 worlds now.

We need idea's that Albion had, hell gates type of stuff.
Use thingwalls to enter a "province wide" dungeon where you would randomly spawn in to a spot, and many other thingwalls would also connect into that dungeon. it would have Q boosted by 300% for animals (mamo Q1500 anyone?).
Something like this would force pvpers and grinders into having to use the dungeon without protections around them.

simplest way to deal with the rageless problem is to:

1.) Remove the ability to aggro someone on any claim. Aggroing another player should require rage. Period. If you want to play farmville and you get attacked, then you either buy rage to try to defend yourself, call your rage friends, or you roll over and give the aggressors what they want - the way it should be

2.) Add a visual indicator that a character has rage, similar to the blood drop notating murderous rage.

This way everyone wins.

Ragers no longer attack rageless characters in big pvp fights, rageless characters can't aggro people and then run inside a wall Sprucecaps and Farmville enjoyers see no difference in their ability to run into a wall

Cool, then I think we should have polling. Happy devs are productive devs.

I agree on first part but I wouldn't say realm has been overly tweaked. It's more like it was added in a half complete state then tweaked to a 60% complete state and then just left. Siege u could def say has been overly tweaked tho.

Main reason I don't bothered brainstorm new type of pvp objective is 1-im retarded 2- I feel like this devs always prefer implement their own ideas when it comes to big content addition

Also I do think it's funny how some small amount of forum account can create an impression of public opinion (or even 1 post) and leave jorb thinking new gates are unpopular etc. Polls is not a terrible idea. That being said if they start properly gauging public opinion at this point they might realise every1 hates pvp so maybe It is a terrible idea

Rework realm buffs in a way you require natural wonders from provinces less than grotesque idols and menhirs, giving provinces something relevant. Irminsuls and Monoliths are a bit irrelevant atm. Theres little reason to fight/contest a warflag.

If you let the silent majority express their opinions, I'm sure you'd find out that they'd rather just play the farming part of the game. I personally prefer the grind game, but accept that the pvp is what keeps most people from just being assholes to everyone around, plus you sometimes have to kill someone who pisses you off.

When is the last time you had to kill someone who pissed you off in the game? I would also question the notion that the threat of death in haven is what keeps anyone who isn't already a pvp asshole. Regardless assholes are just gonna shit all over everything Chuck.

I don’t think it’s controversial at all, it’s a good change, you’re just taking suggestions from people that would rather abuse a bug than report it, maybe you should consider not taking advice on making the game better from people that got nuked for trying to make it worse?

Nightdawg has a point, many veterans gave up on trying to post their ideas because they just get ignored, unfortunately

Also, remove speedbuffs
Also, make PVE not cheeseable
Unironically most constructive post on this entire thread to be honest. Cheeseable PVE is by far the most damaging part of this game in its current state. In my opinion. Happy to expand on why Jorb, if you care for a long read let me know.

By all means, shoot!
