Still trying, still can't get in.
At least animals are safe, though guess my bunnies and chickens will die.

Re: unable to log in
At first I thought it might be blocked, but then I saw the line "Caused by: java.net.URISyntaxException: Illegal character in path at index 1: ${version}/jogl.hl"
Plus the location listed was Ohio.
Try accessing the game using other clients or Steam. Or reinstall it, deleting all temporary files and downloading the client again from the website.

Re: unable to log in
What, exactly, must I delete? Have "Haven" and "Haven Launcher" folders in Appdata/Roaming. And I don't want to lose my map (not backed up since last summer, lol).
Is there something odd about being in Ohio?

Re: unable to log in
Thanks. Tried Ender, got in with no problem (will have to decipher how to toggle off much of the onscreen data, too distracting; plus my farm is now such a cluster of icons on the map that the farm itself is hidden, lol). Would like to get default client working, that's what I'm accustomed to.

Ohio is fine. In some countries, accessing the game is problematic due to various blocked resources. But if your geolocation is correct, you shouldn't have this problem.animary wrote:Is there something odd about being in Ohio?
Yes, I meant what's in the Appdata/Roaming folder. I thought maybe there was some kind of file error there. To avoid losing the map, you can export it.animary wrote:What, exactly, must I delete? The main thing is that it launched, and I hope the animals are all okay.animary wrote:Thanks. Ender has its downsides, but it also has quite a few advantages. I especially think you'll like the sorting function.
You can disable unnecessary icons by clicking the middle icon above the minimap (in the second row).

Re: unable to log in
Thanks again. Yes, bunnies and chickens are well, just packed like sardines in the hutches and coops, lol.
"...disable unnecessary icons by clicking the middle icon above the minimap"
The normal icon menu?
Also have a string of translucent boxes, F1-F12 (I assume for hotkeys), in upper left of screen which I'd like to remove. And a row of stats along the right side of my character page (where you see what you're wearing) that doesn't need to be there all the time. The display of Q for everything is useful but also doesn't need to be always on, can I toggle that?
And I inventoried my vast stock of unacceptable language before finding the replacement for cntrl+shft+click to move inventory items. Don't see why they had to change that.
But I'm back in, everything else will work out.

Ha ha! I'm happy for them. You're welcome.animary wrote:Thanks again. Yes, bunnies and chickens are well, just packed like sardines in the hutches and coops, lol.
Yes. You wrote that "plus my farm is now such a cluster of icons on the map that the farm itself is hidden," so I suggested an icon menu where you can disable unnecessary ones. I didn't realize this was a regular menu and not just found in Ender.animary wrote:"...disable unnecessary icons by clicking the middle icon above the minimap"

Can be disabled. Options - UI. 1st row - 3,5,6. 2nd row - 5.animary wrote:Also have a string of translucent boxes, F1-F12 (I assume for hotkeys), in upper left of screen which I'd like to remove.
