No option to build a visitor gate

Hey, I was trying to build a gate, but I noticed there is no option to build a visitor gate. The only option here, when I click on the cornerpost is "Build gate". Is there a skill requirement to build a visitor gate? What am I missing?

In World 16.1 every gate is considered visitor gate

No problem, mate. Also, you can enter visitor gates while in combat as long as your character does not have Rage skill learned.

So, in case someone attacks me, I can just get in my claim and as long as I am inside, I will be safe? Does it mean I can just let the gates open as well? I mean, whoever gets in is going to get a visitor buff and can't do anything harmful?

You should probably place a fence gate behind your palisade gate, to prevent people from coming inside and gathering information about your base.

if they do happen to follow you inside and they do not have claim perms you can just evict them, for them being in combat they will get kod in a few seconds. just right click like you would bandy.
