Prospect flags showing for correct floor

I know this must've been highlighted back in the past but I cba to necro an old thread. Can you please make it so that when you prospect something and use the "Mark" ability that it actually marks the layer the ore is on? Even better would be if you could make it so that all placed markers could be transfered to different elevations cause that way we could actually plan for mineholes in correct places in advance aswell. Please please pretty please?
