is this Fisherman or Nomad?

Post by Miss_Min »

I've done quite a few credos in various worlds. I am not surprised to be asked to deliver an item to a questgiver within about 1500 tiles of my location. I *am* surprised, as are multiple other people, that in W16.2 we are being asked to deliver fish (and possibly other fishing-related items) to questgivers 3000+ tiles from our location.

This is not a case of deliver a thing to a tree > completes quest> get new quest> new quest involves another tree another 1500 tiles from your base in the same direction as the first one. This is catch a fish just outside your base> completes quest> get new quest> new quest is surprise! Nomad mission into the unknown. Is it trying to make us see the sea? Is it intended for some other reason? Or is it not intentional?

It has probably something to do with the location you chose to live at.
Show me where you live and I will tell you why its happening.

It might be happening if you live next to worlds border.

While I can't see your pictures, I am choosing to believe that they are of you being exclusively kind and helpful, is that right?

I guess by now you have figured out you chose a shitty place to live for questing.
Big joy of discovery moment for you.
I'm happy you got to experience this.

irrelevant shitpost.

as for OP's issue, it IS weird and off. though I recall one such quest two worlds ago, same usual local tree quest crap sending me 2300+ tiles away for a 'greet' quest. figured they had it fixed by now. aside of nomad quests, never seen such distances.
also, what the hell does it have to do with world border? distance is distance.

Its funny to see you both unable to accept truth and lash out.
If you remove a direction or two where a quest giver could spawn you force it to spawn further away from previous quest givers to fulfill the distance between quest givers rule.

If you chose your shitty location on purpose to get closer quest givers you were stupid.
If you chose your shitty location by accident and are suffering from this you are even more stupid.
