Is it not enough that you camp my shop to kill newbies (parking a watchbot near your claims/village and wall to make sure you notice every newbie trying to buy leather or basic metals from me) and pretend to be me placing 'new deals every day' runestones in the Ring of Brodgar, even keeping a watchbot there to remove any actual messages from me literal seconds after I place them? Do you have to slander me on the forums as well?

Anyone who's used the shop before you successfully dried your trap gate (as well as anyone whose trade alt still makes it there alive now) can vouch that the shop is very much legit and has been buying trash and selling basic resources for quite some time. Unfortunately I've barely had any time to play lately so there's not much I've been able to do to warn players to use only trade alts and avoid loitering outside. I've considered just closing the gate to mark the shop closed (not like the shop's getting much traffic anymore anyways), but that wouldn't stop the shop's old reputation being abused to lure newbies and would just prevent people still holding Medals from cashing out using an alt.

are you saying you arent the person who claimed all around brodgar, and patrols around to murder people like all day? it sure as hel isnt me. shop isnt usable with those guys around.

No, the only claim that's mine is the pclaim immediately around the shop. (The vclaim around it belongs to the griefer but won't be able to declaim mine for a couple more weeks.) I did have a naked alt logged in near that gate for a while, but that was to distract their watchbot so I could repeatedly destroy the cornerpost and keep the path open.

Then why do you insist on pushing a narrative that the shop is a trap, when it's very noticeably been a legit shop for a month before the griefers started actively hunting visitors? (There were occasional attacks in the area before that too - my trade alt managing the shop got hit once - but it was relatively safe, not like the current 24/7 watchbot situation.)

The Eastern Brodgar shop did nothing wrong and has great deals for new players

That guy is full of crap tbh. He logs in then the ganker account logs in. Lures players to his shop and there are new murder scents right his border. What do you gain tho. You hang out there like all day.

Given VDZ's history, I'm more inclined to trust him in that his original shop wasn't a trap and it got co-opted as bait for whoever is noob baiting.

That said, I do not understand why VDZ went to the effort of making a shop by RoB when options like GT or even H4D existed...

East of Brodgar Shop predates both, being open since August 29th. H4D's public well wasn't even open yet, so someone else built a q55 public well across from my shop beyond the river around that time.

Considering how much of a pariah you are to this game and these forums. I would not be surprised if it was you that has the bots and are busy killing the "newjacks" and if it's not you then I am willing to bet you are kicking yourself now for not thinking of it yourself

As for weather or not the shop is or is not a trap. When i first started I did indeed buy stuff from there. So i am inclined it was not setup with the intention of killing newbies.
