seed's range of variance in Q

Post by lordgrunt »

so, 1 field, enclosed by pavings. planted in one go, from single quality seeds, all as usual.
I planted poppies and left for a week for poppy pods. and while I know why this happened, imo it should not.
It is the same mechanic where existing trellis crop yields for second time and quality changes. and its fine for trellis crops, usually a positive surprise.
but for regular soil-planted crop its a mess, just look at the variance in qualities:

it is a fine example and good insight into how poppy pods are generated, not all in one go but spread across some period of time.
