It is, I tracked it when Alfrety got KOd
Thanks for the confirmation, now I'm confident enough that I can add as supporting evidence:

jordancoles wrote:Eastern Brodgar shop
The name is 'East of Brodgar Shop'. Not coincidentally, the first 'new deals every day!' runestone pretending to be me to lure newbies into the trap also incorrectly called it 'Eastern Brodgar shop'. The messages also match Jordan's forum writing style, notably having proper capitalization and punctuation but missing a period at the end of lines.

No normal person goes through all that for one guy unless they did something really really bad.
Up until this thread nobody knew I was the one running the shop (though it could've been deduced from my questions about
declaim mechanics and
hidden pali drying mechanics, but at that point we were already fully in conflict) so it couldn't have been because of anything outside of the game. (I always use a different name in-game and very rarely give out my forum name, or post my in-game name on the forums.) The only thing I've done in-game that pissed anyone off was breaking the grief pali cornerpost repeatedly, which Jordan (or one of his associates) claimed he was building for the greater good:

[11:11] Why do you insist on denying newer players access to a shop that lets them get basic resources?
???: Im not denying access
???: the gates are open
[11:12] Until the pali is dried and the gates close
[11:12] Locking in the entire ring of brodgar area
???: thats not the plan
[11:12] Why is there a palisade if that's not the plan
???: to prevent animals from being pulled in was the plan
???: this is part of it
[11:13] That's bullshit, animals being pulled in has never been a serious problem
???: sandbox
???: maybe its a problem to me
[11:14] It's a problem to you that players get to enjoy the game
???: yeah yeah
???: sure sure
[11:15] If you had any issue with animals you'd have extended the palisade even if there's a gap letting non-malicious players through
[11:15] People won't grief if it takes too much effort
???: except you, griefing it every day
???: xd
[11:15] But instead you're focusing all your efforts on making sure this little gap is closed
[11:16] I run a shop providing leather and basic metals in exchange for garbage like dragonflies
[11:16] And you're blocking access to it
???: why woud I make more wall when one wall is being bashed daily
???: if that stopped I'd do the rest hueheue
[11:16] Because it would force actual griefers to walk all the way around it, which is too much effort for them
[11:18] I don't mind the rest of the wall, but players need a way to leave the Ring of Brodgar to access my shop (and ideally the general area too, not everyone has a good teleport network)
???: all the gates are open
???: they can leave
???: if I made it so they couldnt the wall would get nuked
[discussion ensued about whether or not devs ever removed bushes from Ring of Brodgar or if it was only done by players]
[11:24] I can't trust someone in the Haven community to wall of an area but keep the gate open because pinky swear
[11:24] wall off*
???: Well you can keep bashing it, I can keep remaking it
[11:25] I'll have to
???: Tom and Jerry
[11:25] Can't you wall off the area until the river instead? Animals can't swim
???: kinda
[11:26] Animals won't spawn on claimed terrain either
???: cant make palisade within 3 tiles of water
???: so will have to do weird shit to block
[11:27] Which is better than locking everyone inside
???: perhaps
???: again it's not locked
[11:27] It's not closed, at the moment. It is locked.
???: technically locked
???: not closed
[11:28] Though you could add a lock even after it's dried, so that's not a guarantee either
???: idk what to tell you man lol
[11:28] What if
[11:29] You give me a master key to these gates, I craft a new lock for it, I replace the lock and then I destroy the master key by dropping it in a house
[11:29] That way we can be sure the gate remains open
???: will consider
Considering the exact same watchbot (I Memorized him afterwards) that tipped off the wall-builder whenever I destroyed the cornerpost is now being used to alert the killer whenever people walk into the trap, the intent was obviously not as claimed. Not sure if making a guaranteed-Visitor corridor to rob and/or kill people walking out of the safe area was always the plan or if he just changed his mind after initially planning to just lock people in, but either way the plan was to do something malicious from the start and it can't have been related to anything I did. This was, and is, clearly being done just to grief the most vulnerable players.
