yes but mainly no. with the old LP and the sliders, you had to actually play the game.

There were tree cutting/bucket and board bots. but those took a Long time to produce the LP and there was a possibility a boar or bear could take you out(not kill u so to speak, but interrupt the program)

Just out of curiosity, what if storm of swords nerf was reverted, however, it becomes only blue attacking move, yellow is opened but not damaged, meaning it doesn't self open and you'd need full circle to do that aoe damage. Would you think that's a better solution?

Maybe its amazing idea.
but we should try it first with cleave.
so it will open red but damage only in blue, less self open moves will be awesome.

I didn't play back then, but looking at the implementation of Curiosities with the benefit of hindsight, they probably just made botting more powerful.

Like you said, a bot that treecuts/boards/buckets forests is susceptible to all kinds of interference. But a bot producing curiosities can hand them over to a different character, effectively decoupling the risk and reward. Curiosities also conceptually introduce a bottleneck that in theory levels out the playing field between a casual player and a bot running 24/7. But because Study Desk weren't implemented back then, using a bot to reload curiosities would give a massive advantage.

It's pretty obvious I know a lot more about what goes on at the top level of haven than u so pls stop being so big ego and just accept when I tell you this game is probably the least sweaty or competitive game that exists. Ive been in top villages every world for like 10 worlds. The top villages industry is always just 1 guy who likes mining. The feasting part is like you hunt once in a while and then make sausages, no one is min maxing this shit. The farms barely even got farmed this world. No one cares.

I'm not saying botting isnt possible or that it doesnt exist but the reality is its not really a thing and it makes absolutely no difference. If someone is actually running shit like that they should be embarassed because hans made 60 tokens this world selling the highest industry stuff in market and hes not even really a miner he just mines on a fighter character once in a while. In early world everyone kept saying I had op stats and I dont even know how to use a cookbook I just make same basic shit as ever

Although I dont know why Im bothering to type this, Ive typed it all before theres no curing your bot derangement syndrome. I just wish youd recognize your own mental illness and post less

World 4 was the last time anything like that happens 90% of the games history has been this current system and that one was quite crap I started playing in World 4 World 4 I think only lasted for 26 days cuz it was constantly crashing I don't know about world one and two and three cuz I wasn't around for them

also you're constantly complaining about Bots yes people are using them but are they as powerful as you think they are no I started using bots in the last World they even suck the only thing about a terraforming bot does different then the default digging is it gets water when I run out I can leave it running so I don't have to deal with terraforming myself and do other tasks a lot of these Bots are slower than doing the shit yourself the only convenient thing they offer is it does it automatically but it's productivity is worse than a human being for instance moving shit into a stockpile it can only do one item at a time and it takes about 2 minutes for it to unload like 50 items into a stockpile farming is even worse the bots not smart enough to do animation canceling something it takes less than 5 minutes for a normal human to do would takes the bot like 30 minutes the only convenience thing about it is you can walk away and it does it automatically but productive Wise It's actually slower the only tasks I think it's actually useful for is hauling garbage around and sorting shit but even then it's slow at that for me Bots are only good for terraforming relocating logs and moving stockpiles but it's slow at moving stockpiles and filling stockpiles you could probably train your dog to do a better job better if you have children you could have them do it for you just reward them with candy

I'm using the nurgling 2 client you were complaining about people using bots in the past and the clients being private this one is public you can get it on Steam you could also download it on the forums
the client makes setting up your own bots simpler and programming them is also possible within the client as well that's beyond my level of expertise but even then I don't expect it to do too well so I keep it as simple tasks it still breaks regularly

every discussion you reply on you turn it into one about Bots even if it is a problem you're trolling the whole entire forums by changing every discussion to talk about Bots from PvP to bots from something else to bots for you every discussion needs to be about Bots you derail every topic and turn it into Bots you keep talking out of your bothole
