Is this the beginning of the Great Bot Incursion?

I'm a somewhat frequent forum user, so I'm biased by both the sheer volume of ad posts I've seen in the last week but also by the fact that I actually get to witness pretty much every single instance of it, unlike the people who open the forum a few times a week on average and therefore are much more unlikely to be affected by the sight of botted ad posts.

Anyways, to those who give a shit, what are your thoughts on the bot situation?

I don't think we had any AI chatters? Unless you are talking about that one copycat post in "How do I?". Feels like AI is either not quite there yet (can't emulate the specific breed of H&H forum enjoyers) or it is but nobody has been bothered enough to make one.

I used to be forum enjoyer back in my School life
That one have a roleplay game that use "play-by-post" kinda thing, it's almost pretty much turn base roleplay or it can be almost real time depending on how active the GM of those games online or not

The thing is, both niche forum and populated can be affect by Bot all the same.
it's all depend on how fast Mod taking the post down.

I came back to that forum quite a while ago and now all I see is Bot post AD and random Topic, they even reply on each other lol

Crazy to think that we could absolutely be suffering the results of a bot creating bots that seek out niche forums to flood with lesser bots, and the person who made the first one could be completely unaware.
Like, all the tech dystopia shit we imagined could be happening right now and the only thing that's different between real life and the movies is that all the characters in the movie are informed and aware of what's going on.
