There are bots and few players left on the server. Imo they should sell the game asap and retire

Do you think that'd actually be good for the game? I don't . .
This isn't ideal, but it's way better than the alternative of remaking this game into another slop that will die in few months.

yes, better one good quality patch a week made by new devs than months of absence or troll weekly zzz birb made by current ones

Fostik wrote: Mon Oct 26, 2026 8:56 am You see, most playerbase doesn't come in first 2 months of a new world and don't see this ganks and other pvp cruelty, they mostly live totally outside of pvp, never see ganks or raids.
Instead, a list of other issues they face, like unable to progress in mine without crazy stat numbers, gating mechanics created for those top veteran players you mentioned, and other hardships that simply doesn't make haven a casual game.
Yes I agree, yet I've met many people including myself with the attitude of "I will play until I get griefed, face a major setback, reach a block in progression, or get bored, and try again next reset."
These are the players the devs should be working on retaining, not the same 100-odd players that linger until the bitter end every time. There is a reason the spikes in player count don't last.

Also worth noting, cruelty need not be limited just to ganks and PvP; I know plenty relish the opportunity to take advantage of naivety in this game through other means, like baiting with items and trades, general bot/alt abuse, and especially abusing others' lack of knowledge of crucial game mechanics like visitor, mines, scents, combat, claims, charters, walls, sieges... mechanics which are all already way too overdeveloped in an attempt to continually deal with player bullshit.

I'm sure it's happened to many of us, and most folks who have absolutely fucked me and others over in the most dishonest of ways since legacy are still here pulling the same shit. I'm not sure if the devs just overestimate their place in the community so much because they make them the most money, but I reckon it's keeping them far too bitter and distracted to improve their game properly, therefore preventing any new ideas of fundamentally changing this game for the better from taking shape.

I think it heavily depends on what a new dev might want to do with the game, but overall I would say bringing in new devs without any history with the toxic community or sense of respect for the pervasive culture of this game would probably be a good thing. Let them tear it up, I say.

Kids who joined during the Steam release now came to forums to cry because this game is not what they want: not anther PVE co-op survival, not the "eat a berry - gain agi for 10 minutes", not build stupid shit to show-off or do brain-dead streams. Oh well...
Yormungandr, gurbibal master, drunken hunter, the thief of Constantinopol, he who never died of man`s hand, son of Severin, grandson of Yozz, Yozzik, Wengdalf. Also an owl who's watching.

Fast conclusions! Your comments history just confirms that we won't have any meaningful conversation, neither we won't get any meaningful feedback about changes this game needs (in your limited opinion).
If this game is not modern enough, there's no point for such a progressive player to waste their precious time on it. Successful survival RPGs out there on Steam are waiting for their playerbase to eat berries and be the chosen ones. Make sure you're staying on the bleeding edge of gaming!

Good that here you found somebody to mate with. Although you'd better not mate and reproduce.

besides the other retard, literally noone else is talking about those mythical "successful survival RPGs", you are just projecting what little latent desire for a change you have by saying that nonsense, because it's the only way to do that without breaking your stagnant "old man yells at cloud" routine

there is no meaningful feedback to be had, because you don't play the game

there is no meaningful conversation to be had, because you are a smooth-brained, hat-loving inbred clutching at your pathetic disdain for the "Steam release kids"
