Right off the bat I'll say that I've only been playing this game for about a day, now.

Right off the bat, I didn't read the full post. Just skimmed through parts of it but it seemed to be a fair critique of the early game. One major issue is that these problems are known and, hopefully, will be dealt with in some way and to some degree in the next game build. Your thoughts appear to be fairly insightful but unfortunately you're posting them at a point in time when nothing will be done about them until Haven 2.0 comes out at some point in the future. If you stick around for however long it takes for Haven 2.0 to come out, or if you come back when it does, then such in-depth posts will be much more appreciated and much better received.
