As mentioned, try to build walls. If you are constantly being horassed, simply try to store palisade cornerpost (or brickwall) initial requirements on alts until you got enough for it to be built. If even that isn't enough, because people have palibashers already, then try looking at dwarfes subforum and some villages recruiting. It is hard to start from scratch at this point when you can get simply smashed in few seconts by high lvl chars.
