and if you hit gas and light a candle on it the whole mine should explode

The mining helmet particularly needs a buff now that strength requirements encourage miners to wear bearcapes...

Yes, please. Real mining helmets' main purpose has always been to protect the head against such accidents, it makes no sense for them not to be useful as protection in-game against cave ins.
