How much would you pay...?

Serious question here. (No, I'm not a dev in disguise)

How much would you pay to play this game per month if the following criteria were met:

Major reduction in lag.
Possibility of some PvE only servers (IE: No trespassing, vandalism, thievery, murder, etc)
Major reduction in server crashes. (Almost no server crashes with the exception of weekly maintenance [think WoW])

And how much would you pay flat-rate for your own private server you could invite your friends to?


To answer my own questions. I'd pay no more than $10 a month, but no less than $5.
For my own server, custom client and everything, I'd pay no more than $30-40. But at least $20.

The biggest appeal of this game is the freedom to do almost anything. For me having a private or PVE only server just detracts from the fact that your house/city can't be raided and soon enough it becomes dull and boring. I also LOVE the harsh death penalties. Didn't think i would it but after playing for a couple days I am in love.

Price? I'm willing to pay $10 a month. I would really like to see a graphic update and more animations. A lot more content and item creation would put this game over the top.

Also, I think non-pvp servers defeat the whole purpose of this game and the social experiment it is undertaking.

Of course I'd play it free with those things, that's a stupid suggestion.
And yeah, you'd say it defeats the purpose of the game if you're part of an already well-developed village with access to mines. Try never having access to one because you get killed by russians for going near one.
