a couple of nomads
hey you all well here is the thing I'm not quite experienced in the game and the barren desert the game decided to drop me in is completely unpopolated with a couple abandoned towns with corpses littered there. and I was hoping to find a couple of guys to start a small nomads tribe to settle down with to make the game a little bit easier! if anyone is interested pm me

"Nomads"
"Settle down"
nomading while being still in the noob stage is pretty hard, and if you ever wanted to join a village, your stats might be hard to balance/specialize in something different. While being a nomad food is mostly what you find first, so eating a bunch of chickens might boost your DEX by a large amount, then if you wanted to train PHY then you would have to eat a ton of cavebulbs or some shit.
Spawning a different character and starting over might be the better option. Also, read the beginner's guide made by Jackard: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=3196

Re: a couple of nomads
I guarantee you that newbies are physically incapable of fucking up their stats beyond all repair in the first week or two they play. Even if they managed to get, say, 50 or 60 dex (Which certainly isn't a bad thing, that would make a fine tailor) and decided they needed to do something else, villages have the collective resources to get them the stats they need with ease. Food is a basic and easily conquered obstacle, especially for a group of people. So starting over is unnecessary.
It doesn't seem that lilrfozzy is interested in joining an established town anyway, so let him build his own newbie camp and have fun. Sure, it'll probably get destroyed or abandoned but that's his decision to make.

You could always kill your character and join the village of the dead.
Just focus on getting boat building, you can't go too far without hitting a village. Even if you don't, pay attention to landmarks and figure out where you are in the world.
