A Hearthling Limerick

Post by loftar »

There once was a boy in this world of lore,
who, upon too far a journey, met with a boar.
The boy thought "my, what prey",
and leapt at it with intent to slay,
and before long, the boy was conscious no more.

There once was a lad from a circle of stone,
who traveled the world, in search for a home.
He went into a cave, that little spelunker,
that happened to hide an uncle's bunker.
No more does this lad in this land roam.

A man owned a quiver with many an arrow,
but met in his travel a lad, with a mind oh so narrow.
The barbarous lad knocked him down to steal
his money, armor, quiver and veil.
Back to his mind the man swore to cut that lad through flesh, bone and marrow.

There was a fellow whom was formed of earth.
A flesh man went to travel the Hearth.
They met along the flesh man's travels.
Now the earth man is nothing but gravel.

There was a pirat singing "Yohoho",
sailing against wind and snow.
Up in the far north of Hearth,
trying to find what was most worth,
saying "We're near to the rum! I can bet !!".
A bearded man appeared;
"What ? Rum ? Nope, sry not implemented yet."

I went to Brodgar to look for a tree,
but cabins and baskets were all I could see.
But that's OK,
I've moved anyway,
but do it to my place and you'd better flee!

I went to Mordor, to look for some tea,
where foxes and boars, lurk behind every tree.
There was tea in my stash,
when the server did crash...
Oh no, oh woe, is me.

Foxes and boars turned inside-out.
Ground to wursts. Topped with Kraut.
Others die,
of hunger they cry.
I swallow them whole with a nice, cold stout.

The server rang out "ping" with glee
Where oh where can that client be
It waited to hear a "pong"
As if listening for a loud gong,
He has internet that has died, hasn't he.
