I read so much about it here on forum and on wiki, but iam still confused as hell... Just say YES or NO or comment to my points:
1) If i get it right, we get learning points from discovery of new items (not all, but almost every new) if they appear in inventory - we get some minor LP.
2) We gain LP from Curiosity, those LP's are multiplied by that learning stuff from (change, life). Anyways, every curiosity item can be examinated only ONCE and no further LP gain from that item anymore.
3) So if it is correct what i wrote at point 1 and 2, we have limited amount of LP in game and there is no other way to raise it
4) If point 3 is correct, IT SUCK SO HARD! But i read something about LP gain from crafting items (it has limitation), but it didnt work to me ingame :-/

Re: About Learning Points (World 5)
well once you finish studying a curiosity, it disappears. but then you can get a new one and study it as well.
say you study a cone cow. once finished, the cone cow will give you LP and then disappear. at that time, you are free to make another cone cow and study it, or look for other curiosities as well.

Re: About Learning Points (World 5)
1. Yes, but forget about this as a method for getting LP other than getting enough LP to buy foraging, hunting, fishing, and putting a few points into exploration and survival. That's all it's there for, not as a method for character development.
2. Definitely... well, not really. Once you study that item it's gone forever, never to be studied again. Of course, nowhere is it said that you can't make 6 straw dolls and use them one right after the other. You can only study one at a time.
3. How did you read that in the wiki? If it's confusing, please point it out so it can be worded better, please! (Seriously, I want what I post in the wiki to be as helpful as possible and NOT ambiguous)
4. Aren't ya glad it ain't true?

Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

Re: About Learning Points (World 5)
Thank you guys for fast answers. Iam so happy! I will give this game another try
Seems it will be much more time consuming, becouse it takes sooo long to discover new fluffy stuff, but what ever! This game is challenging and hard core and thats the way it should be!
Also, everytime iam logged and i click on social, i dont see any players. Its becouse they are not nearby, or i need to have clan (kin) or em iam only one who playing?
Btw.: If somebody looking for noob players with moderate english, feel free to PM me anytime

You need to kin people for them to appear in your kin list. Dwarves & Thieves is where you can recruit or get recruited to play with other people.Wujc wrote:Also, everytime iam logged and i click on social, i dont see any players. Re: About Learning Points (World 5)
noone else commented(probably because you were asking about LP not sliders), but full change gives you 300% learning ability full peace gives you +20%, for a total of 360%. life has no LA bonus, but is good to get for the bonus hp. also work on peace first as each move of any slider will give you 1 more on change, while moving change is just 1 move...Wujc wrote:2) We gain LP from Curiosity, those LP's are multiplied by that learning stuff from (change, life).
