I don't know if tis is the right section.The way bears run from you when they take sso much damage is really annoying.Is there someway to make then stay a the shore?I've lost several bears because of this already.

If they run, disengage combat and follow them. They will stop eventually.

yes, get someone else to agro the bear, and you get out and build a fence around it.

there are currently 2 bugs that i know about to solve the animal running away problem

Shoot it when it twitches

And as soon as it runs away, take 1 step on land and stand there
and it will come back to you, but it wont attack you

just use a bow and u can kill them in 4 hits

pretty sure theres a dps and a damage done threshold. at least ive had boars run from me after doing like 14 damage and the last hit being 30seconds before that.

Aim it when it runs away. It will run far off screen and eventually stop. And your aiming bar will raise, no matter how far it is. Then shoot it when it leaves battle. Don't care where it is and needn't go off boat.

I do go to land but they never return
