Here's what you should do. Vault your posessions that the village uses together/stores for trade. Then, make your village larger. Everyone tames their own cattle/ has their own plot so that if the offender kills animals they will be his own. Lastly, stop building your fucking houses by shift clicking them awkwardly together and making super awkward looking palisades that serve no purpose. The last one won't help this situations but, god damn.

I second this. Walls should never be shift clicked, and if you're going to do it with houses at least make them aligned with the grid.
