My computer will not download Hnh

I got a new computer this week and it meats all the requirements for the game whats happening?

Do you have the latest java installed?

Maybe you could specify in which way your computer doesn't download it. What happens if you try? Have you only tried to download the standard client or did you try to download Ender's client or someone's else as well?

When I downloaded it the last time (on the PC of my roommate) it has downloaded but not started because I didn't notice that there was no Java installed at all.

Are you able to download anything else?

No I was downloading the normal Hnh program and i had none thing going on with it all i have on all the time is steam

Normal way of starting the default client:

1. You click the "Play" button on top of the webpage
2. a windows appears to ask you what to do with the file "autohaven"
3. you go "open with" then choose "Java (TM) Web Start Launcher" from dropdown menu- then click ok
4. Java Web Start windows opens up telling you "the application is going to be downloaded" - let it finish (depending on your connection it might take a few minutes)
5.The game window appears...

But:
When you downloaded the "autohaven.jnlp" already, right click and go open and choose "Java (TM) Web Start Launcher" in appearing window ... everything else go from step 4 above...

I tried this and waited about a hour and a half it got no where but half way then stops completely

I have the same problem. The application starts downloading but then it just stops at 50%. I figure it has something to do with my browser or my internet. Been searching for an answer and there are more people with this problem but there never seems to be an answer. Could someone please help us?

server probably lagging so badly you cant play unless u had it downloaded before the OS upgrade

the default client is downloading very slowly atm ...

You both should go to this:

and get the Ender client - !Read in the post carefully! - if you encounter problems try to find a solution in the thread (or forums by doing a search) before you post- also if you encounter problems with Ender post there pls...
