Why can't this happen?

1. Give the game to someone who cares about it, with an agreement to split the future profits [optional]
2. Rent a server that can properly handle H&H/fix code so that it's not so laggy (easy for me to say, I know, but I have faith)
3. Start charging a small subscription fee
4. Guarantee game maintenance, regular updates, etc
5. Userbase grows exponentially
6. Subscribing userbase grows exponentially
7. ???
8. Profit (literally)

I can see this game being the next Runescape. In fact, Runescape started out EXACTLY like this. A personal hobby of 2 guys. Bare bones, a bit rough on the edges. Started free, then they charged an optional subscription for extra features. Guess what, the original founders of Runescape are now worth $600 million and it's the biggest MMORPG on the web in terms of active players.

Edit: I see a lot of people in this thread arguing about stupid stuff. Here are the facts:

- Jorb + Loftar own this game, it is 100% in their control, and up to them to decide what happens with it
- Most of us are extremely grateful for the creation of H&H, especially with it being F2P, and grateful for the financial sacrifices made by Jorb + Loftar
- Most of us see H&H as a very good game with huge potential
- Some people (such as myself) respectfully plead with Jorb + Loftar to do something with the current state of H&H - it's an amazing game that seems to have been developed 95% at the way but fallen at the last hurdle.

IMO, I don't really want this to happen. Big profits are nice, but I think H&H would be ruined by so many players walking around that it would just become "boring" to some players to just walk a few miles and see like 20 players walking around.

Plus the animal population would die down.

@Coles, it is so funny how people are constantly bashing the devs for their inability in creating a working game, yet they are all here on the forums, big HnH addicts and in other contexts saying this is the greatest game ever created. It is one or the other guys.

Actualy, it is possible for it to be both - we are all HnH addicts and we do all love the game and think its concept is great, which is why we care so much now that the game is becoming unplayable for even the die-hard fans. Its not really too much to ask that the devs put something back into this game for the playerbase they've created, i'm not saying its easily fixable and i know they have Salem but if it wasn't for us - the players, who care - they wouldn't have either, so in my humble opinion they should care a little bit back in return, which is not too much to ask.

Maybe the rapidly decreasing state of play is deliberate in an attempt to get us all to move over to Salem
I did, as did many others, sadly it doesn't hold my interest in the same way HnH does.
