question about brick walls

so from what im understanding is the formula for a battering ram is
(sqrt of strength)+bonus from items+20-soak=damage
so lets say my bonus from items is 29 and i want to do 50 damage a hit.Brick wall has 70 soak.

sqrt|strength+29+20-70=50

sqrt|strength=71

strength must be 5041 correct?

Were you using the wiki sabinati linked? Because that wiki is not outdated. It hasn't been. It never is. That wiki is updated more often than the wikia one.
