Amount of coal needed for steel
In one steel crucible, how much coal would it take to keep it lit the entire steel round? Not counting the coal used in the 2 bottom parts and the coal needed to get the fuel gauge full at the start.

hmm never checked
BUT
to fuel cruicible you can use branches, logs boards, block of wood, coal chairs and anything
ok not that last one
you need 16 blocks for full cycle

Granted this is off memory, using 4 blocks is unoptimal. 9 charcoal, 18 branches, or 3 blocks w/ 3 branches will fill up a crucible for 12 hours. 1 tick is 40 minutes. The calculations you did rounded up terribly bad. 1 block lasts for 3 hours and 20 minutes, not 3 hours.borka wrote:one fuel meter holds 4 Blocks
Charcoal: 9 for 12 hours, 42 for a full cycle.
Branches: 18 for 12 hours, 84 for a full cycle.
Blocks: 3.6 for 12 hours, 16.8 for a full cycle.
