Just an idea, how about an end game boss like big foot or something that causes the whole world to reset, and person who causes the killing blow will be in a hall of fame.
Good villages will protect the boss so they can play peacefully and build up their village, while the russians will act like dicks and try to kill it.

Dying to boss powers it up, so we can have entire factions dedicated to creating immortal boss.

I somehow think it would never compare to other players. And such things would require more NPC type creatures.
