New server

We need a new server that actually stays up for more than a couple hours at a time.

it's not the hardware that's the problem, it's bugs in the code. there are always some bugs when they add new content.

I think a new server would be useful - not for the reasons above, but as a public test server where the devs can rapidly and freely make changes to gather feedback before taking them Live. This would allow them to

1. keep the current pace of development without premature releases causing trouble for anyone
2. to make larger, more cohesive patches Live

Indeed, but we already have another computer (the old server) for such eventualities. I'd just have to set it up.

I'm tempted to agree with you there.
