Wald only visible over dirt
So when my trees create wald, I can only see it if there's no dryflat there. Dryflat takes precedence over wald and it's superimposed over it when wald is visible. Makes tree farming tough if you haven't made it all dirt to begin with.

Will consider. Thanks.

Too minor of a problem. The tile is still visible. Won't change.

Re: Wald only visible over dirt
I'm saying that there's wald under dryflat a bunch of times and you can't tell where it is except for some random tiles where it terraformed to wald instead of dryflat faster. http://puu.sh/l11yt/0e09baae0a.jpg
If you can make wald take precedence over dryflat (the opposite of what it's now), the problem would be fixed and I could plant my shit in a row with 100% certainty there's wald underneath.

... wat? If there's wald there you'll see it, as one indeed does in your screenshot.Tacheron wrote:I'm saying that there's wald under dryflat a bunch of times and you can't tell where it is except for some random tiles where it terraformed to wald instead of dryflat faster.

Re: Wald only visible over dirt
Ok so - since wald starts from trees and spreads out, I've had a tile of wald near a tree, then a tile of dryflat under which you could see there was wald because there was dirt on the next tile, then a tile of wald. So I'm saying there's sometimes wald under my dryflat soil if the dirt terraformed to dryflat first. I've actually moved my treefarm to a place that I monitor now to prevent any soil type except wald from appearing over dirt.

Re: Wald only visible over dirt
Wald directly over-writes any tiletype, you don't need to turn the entire thing to dirt to get wald to appear.
I don't understand what the issue is either after reading your descriptions. Should the dirt automatically turn to wald faster in your opinion?

That one tile - Dirt under wald under dryflat.

Make wald image take precedence over other soil tile types and I'll be happy cause I'll always know where the wald is.

Re: Wald only visible over dirt
The tile is there, visible. I realize that it is rendered below the other tiles, but we do not want to introduce a specific tile order for this reason only.
