Walking/Running for about 3 hours and no stone in sight.

So, i been running for hours now and have not found any stone... is there a specific spot on where i should look? I also read about mining, but how am i to mine when i don't have a pickaxe.

Did you just start out? All new players spawn in the same general area and that has been stripped off stones by now. 3 hours should be enough though to find some, you were probably just unlucky.

I don't think there is a particular pattern to where stones spawn. Usually they are plenty, just some areas don't seem to have a lot of them.

Well done. It took me 5 hours to find a stone. This REALLY needs to be fixed. No other design issue in H&H matters if every single newbie to the game will be turned away.

Devs already said they will try to add something to fix this. For the sake of newspawnings, I hope they do it quick. Tho I did spawn an alt about 1 week ago and found a stone in 20min. Lucky I guess.

If you use a custom client (I'm using Amber) you can set it so that all stones show up on minimap. I used this and found stone pretty quickly - I would have walked straight past it if it hadn't shown up on minimap.
