Death by Animals

I thought you were not supposed to be killed by wild animals? I took a shot at a Boar with my alt and there was a couple of badgers nearby, needless to say it agro'd all three animals. I only had 1 soft hp so the first badger knocked me out. The other two animals continued to path towards me and each hit me while I was knocked out, third shot killed my character. Is this working as intended? Character name was Mialt. Happened about 30 mins before this post. I looked for another post on this but didnt come up with anything.

I think I read somewhere it is random chance if they decide to murder you or not

Most likely you just got murderized too hard because of the number of animals you aggrod, if I had to guess the animals probably finish whatever attack move they have queued before walking away, with 3 animals that is enough to finish

sadly yes, bows shots scare nearby animles and they will all rush to attack you-

basiclly if you miss or hit, you always aggo em'

sucks to die~ but just get up learn from your mistake and youll become stronger

Yeah its all good, thanks for the words of encouragement, it was just a Alt so im not to worried about it. Takes more than 1 death to keep me down!! I died faster trying to join Brodgar than this little incident. I was under the impression that you couldnt die from animals so will definetly be more careful in the future. Inb4 Tony Honky replies with something "clever".

Might still be the bug that animals continue a queued attack when you're KO'ed by something else (and not them), instead of ending combat instantly like they do when they deal the KO to you themselves.

So when you aggro several and the first KO's you the others will hit once - which can kill you.

That has actually never been the intention at all, but this is arguably not as it should be anyway. Will look at it.

If you get attacked by a single animal, it will KO you and go away. But if multiple animals attack you, each one ofthem will do the attack. Which means if one KO you, other two will hit you while you are down, resulting in death if you're low in hp.

Bears kill sometimes, im not 100% sure but boars might too. But not always
Mostly deaths from single animal is because you have bunch of wound and it hits crazy hpp dmging strike.

I know right, hence the reason I posted it in the Bug Forums instead of General chat. I'm pretty hurt about that alt, probably had a whole 100k lp invested on it. I demand compensation! Probably just going to quit the game now. Also... Pls Cape!
