No I don't think they are that bad. Drying times do take a bit longer than Legacy version but its still reasonable.

I'd like to see drying rack quality affect the speed. So q10 would be 1x, q40 2x etc.

I like the idea even if drying times are the same, it's a good quality of life improvement, everyone simply builds 1000000 drying racks in a line somewhere and cycles through them anyway, even halving that line of racks would be much more convenient.

I like the idea of adding things like this. Its not really about whether or not the current drying racks are bad. This is about adding things that reduce tedium in the late game. Later in the game we should be able to expend resources on things like this to reduce tedium. Like a mill to grind flour faster in.
