Can deposit scent items in containers, collect more, repeat

So while testing the system for potential exploits and bugs and such, I found that I could collect a reek of theft from a clue, deposit it in a container, and then collect another one, and so on. I can't have more than one in any given container, but I could load 4 containers holding 1 scent each into a cart, and have one more scent in my inventory, and thus have 5 scents from a single clue when I go out to hunt someone down. Thus a ranger could have effectively 5x more scent uses and not have to wait for the cooldown until he had used all 5 scents, although he'd have to mess around with the cart's container's a lot and drag the cart everywhere.

But yes, we are aware of that already, and considered it during the implementation. My thoughts on it are as follows:
1) It's not obvious which other implementation technique would be better. I wouldn't want to limit the amount of smells to one, because then it would be too easy to cover one's own tracks.
2) So what? If you want to be pulling a cart behind you at crawl speed to track the criminal, I'd say it's alright. I quite liked the thought of having a cart of clues. :)

i feel utterly disgusted whenever i enter my cabin. theres 5+ different smells i cant stand any longer. bah
anyone feeling the same?
