Post by Zack »

Hi, i started the game few hours ago, and i was try to understand what is the difference between all the terrain type, i know that the swamp can be used for leech, i think the shallow water may be use'd for clay finding, but Red earth (like mars) and other, what can we do with it, apart using it to construct ?

I assume you mean heath when you say red earth. It spawns winds, which can be used to make a wind sword. It also spawns all the grassland animals and herbs plus blueberries.

Yeah, specifically chickens, mouflon (wild sheep), aurochsen (wild cows) and inkweed. I have a feeling I forgot something, though.

Purple marsh: has nothing to speak of
Greeny-blue marsh, showing greeny-blue on mini-map: has leeches
Greeny-blue marsh, showing white on mini-map: has nothing
Stoney ground: Mountain, good place to look for higher q stone
Shallow water: (where you can wade) dig for clay
Deep water: (DO NOT GO SWIMMING) produces other sorts of fish than shallow water
Coniferous forest: produces boughs from fir trees, show a tiny shade darker than deciduous forest on the minimap
Deciduous forest: apple, birch and mulberry trees: apples and mulberries are excellent sources of no fep food
Caves: found in ridges require a light source to explore, make good place to ripen cheeses and are source of cave bulbs
