It seems to be attempt of a coup by military. Their prime minister has said that its "an illegal attempt". They have hostages and stuff, tanks in airports. Bridges closed. Youtube/facebook/twitter are blocked in turkey. Their top general is being kept hostage and so on.

The currency might not be the most important thing right now. The Turkish state might dissolve.

There seems to be missile fire in Anakara now..
