Is anyone else experiencing a severe coal shortage right now? I've burned though the coal I had in no time (80 coal is only enough for 6 smelter batches) and am still waiting for my next batch of coal, but it's taking ages. I've tried to trade for coal with neighbors, but nobody anywhere seems to have any coal.
Is anybody else having the same problem right now?
My progress is being almost completely blocked by this problem. I'm currently in the process of building three additional tar kilns to keep up the coal supply, which strikes me as a bit odd for a hermit doing normal metal production.

Smelting more than 13 batches per 3.5 days (assuming it's still 3.5 days at full load) is 'mass production' now? (In the case of Heavy Earth that's less than 20 bars, I think that's with all bonus skills.)Fratari wrote:Maybe a hermit shouldn't be able to mass produce metal.

We have hundreds of coal just sit around. I think it is not hard to get this coal when build many tar kiln.

Given all that's changed is the burn time of the kilns themselves and not the quantity of coal produced, yeah. Maybe you should plan your industry in advance instead of claiming there's a "coal shortage". Nobody knew the devs were gonna remove coal from 1st cave level.
