Kingdom authority objects require a few select resources, so it's in a kingdom's best interests to secure them

One more example. On the radar map no one will see the clay pit. Fortunately, there is a trace on the map of the world.

The player so fenced that no one can see the pit. There is not even a claim on the whole area. It's just about player greediness - the clay pit is beyond the realm.

wonder if devs could make a script that check for structures near resources and just delete them automagically

That may be true, but people should all have the same chance to be able to get the resource and not just a select few. Blocking local resources contributes to the stagnation of the game world over time in my opinion and if everybody had the same chance to randomly come across them it would promote a slightly more dynamic world.

Perhaps having local resources spawn and de-spawn randomly in the world would be a better choice than having them static.

hardly true at all tbh all the resources a kingdom would need would be in their mines yet u see all these nerds claiming every single icicle/salt/rockcrystals lel none of these are needed for kingdom buffs and even the foulsmokes arent that necessary because the notes of the foul symphony respawn 1000x faster so maybe people are claiming a small amount of nodes in random caves which is gay but w/e and the resources in their own mines but we srsly have like every single resource claimed almost all of which have nothing to do with people securing it for their realm C O M P L E T E B U L L S H I T

also idk anyone walling/claiming foulsmokes except dis idk if they know something i dont but all it is to me is an icicle curio that theyre prob using for all their walled off icicle nodes
