Hobo's Bindle

Post by ricky »

Functions identical to the travelers sack, except it only expands inventory 1 vertical column.

1x tree bough, 1x string, 2x dried hides

While I think this would be a good intermediate item between nothing and tsacks, I just really want to see nubs walking around with hobo bindles

I like this idea.

But perhaps a little to easy? Dried hides and bam everyone has one less than a day in the new world.
- Perhaps 2-handed?
- Or maybe instead of dried hides it needs cloth instead?

Poor man's travellers sack would be cool.

How about you can tie items into it and then to get them you have to tear it open, destroying it in the process.

I like it. We really lack inventory stuff for early game.

It could work like a jule gift on a stick, give it 3*3 inventory - the minimum expansion a tsack offers (when used without any form of inventory expansion, like backpacks or verification boni, which normally no one would do so tsack will be better in all real circumstances) but itself a 2*5 item size when being put into an inventory grid, so it can't be used to compress stuff.

Bough, string, large prepared hide, occupies a hand... should do it nicely.
Possibly - given our wish that we can weaponize everything and a new combat system is in the making - give it the ability for a low power blunt attack that is able to repel small enemies like bats, snakes, foxes and badgers.
