Obviouslly, you had all your hp on bonus con from gear, and once it gone - you're dead.

I had 66 total hp and the gear I was wearing gave only 40 bonus to constitution. You should not Die from taking clothes off at a wardrobe.

No I simply changed at the wardrobe. I click the undress into button. I put NOTHING on.

Re: Changing Killed ME !!!
You lost your constitution buff, and went to negative HP. This is a consequence of Con being possible to buff. Not a bug.
If anything you could perhaps argue that the character should refuse to take off a piece of clothing if doing so would imply death, but that may also be hard to determine before the fact. Will consider.

A) You don't lose actual HHP when undressing, just lose max HHP. If current HHP>Max HHP, then current HHP = Max HHP.
B) You lose all but one HHP. Undressing can't kill you, but it'll leave you, literally, at one, and exactly one, HP.
Downside to B is that this indicates wounds... wounds means they can become infected or other various things where they fluctuate and you still end up in the same situation. As a penalty to implementing A, maybe adjust healing rates slightly based on increased CON so that anyone dropping +CON gear will feel the effect of it.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

Tbh I thought it was this way already. only makes sense that removing a buff to con would remove HP off the top - the MHP. unless you hit 0 con from debuffs, it doesn't seem realistic to die in this fashion.MagicManICT wrote:Other two options are:jorb wrote:If anything you could perhaps argue that the character should refuse to take off a piece of clothing if doing so would imply death, but that may also be hard to determine before the fact. Re: Changing Killed ME !!!
As currentHHP=maxHHP-wounds and maxHHP<=wounds being the definition of death... the only option would be to disable unequipping of gear that buffs con. Which would lead to a mess of corner cases (stealing gear from a downed character).
The sane approach (code wise) IMHO is to keep the mechanic as-is.
