The wiki says about 73 hours, why does the default client say 10 days?

I think time in default client is in game time. 3 days game time = 1 day real live time.Mario_Demorez wrote:

I have become victory of very nice Jordan Coles Contest! Enjoy my winning submit here if it pleasures you.Kaios wrote:Spice Girls are integral to understanding Ysh's thought process when communicating, duly noted.
I would like to notify that it is actually not precisely 1:3 ratio. Its somewhere around that, but you should not trust 1:3 ratio. For example, wrecking ball dries for 3 in game days, which is actually 22-23 or so real time hours. Not 24. Been like this since the legacy at least.Ysh wrote: I think time in default client is in game time. 3 days game time = 1 day real live time.

I must say that I'm mildy disappointed that they didn't use Pi (3.141...) as the nerdy factor for this... or did they and everybody measured wrong?MagicManICT wrote:It's somewhere in the ballpark of 3.17-3.25 on average.
I am pretty sure that they just decided that one second has N ticks and one in game day is Y ticks, without really caring about the exact ratio.Granger wrote:I must say that I'm mildy disappointed that they didn't use Pi (3.141...) as the nerdy factor for this... or did they and everybody measured wrong?MagicManICT wrote:It's somewhere in the ballpark of 3.17-3.25 on average.

The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.jorb wrote:Ideally the game should play itself.
Not bad memory, just don't care about trivialities like this that we should probably post on the wiki so that they can be referenced when someone asks.Enjoyment wrote:Bad memory, dude)MagicManICT wrote:Someone posted it one time, but I didn't save it.
