Turnip idea

What if turnip grew larger if left unharvested? Like adding 1 piece for each ingame day or 2. Then to harvest it, the farmer should have at least that amount of strength as the amount of pieces. So, after harvesting we would get a huge liftable turnip which could be then chipped for turnip pieces. It might have like several size stages: half a tile after 1 month, 1 square tile after 4 months and 2x2 tiles after 16 months of growing. If q grows slowly, that would be awesome too, but it should grow slower compare to if replanted.

Excellent idea, except chipping part. It should be optional. Giant Turnip should possible to be lifted and fall entirely into the food trough.

That is exactly what I thought.

And yea, it should be chippable if we want to cook something from it and we should be able to add it to the swill trough directly

What if this works as Stardew Valley mechanic, leaving 1 type of crop in a 3x3 area has a chance to grow a giant crop, like pumpkins, melon, etc in this case we have the turnip and pumpkins in game
