Crop Q Changes

The past 2 times I have harvested my carrots they have had wide variances in quality across the field of 3-4 q. This is after I have gone out of my way to plant consistent quality seed and done the field all at once. It's frustrating having to go back to having 3-4 containers and sort my seed for best q for the next planting. The rest of my crops have remained consistent. I am using the same farmer and equipment for sowing and harvesting. Can this be sorted out?

Possibly the devs forgot to also revert all the other crops, now that they have seen the light and decided to return to the sane quality mechanic we had (before they messed it up with the tri quality system). I personally welcome the completion of the circle and hope they manage to also apply this to all the other crops, soon.
