I'm trying to teach someone vinegar, but it's just teaching them the bucket.
Apparently you have to discover milk to learn rennet, even though it's not in the recipe, fuck you jorb.

Re: Can't teach vinegar
Out of curiosity, is this an issue for any other liquids like milk or water?

Re: nvm
Some recipes do have additional requirements. Pipe, for example, requires a smokeable substance. Not sure if this could be meaningfully communicated, but I'm fairly sure it is as it should be.

Re: nvm
Does it matter if he said curd or cheese? Yes, he's correct if jorb has stated clearly as to why this is. You're just being pedantic.
If anything, make an argument as to why it should be changed. Something like "It's weird as hell, I think, and something I always forget. Not sure how many times people have asked this world what they were missing for recipes to make cheese processing parts--trays, rennet, etc. Such details aren't easy to recall so the posts don't get answered in a timely manner." To which I might answer: "Perfect details to go into the wiki. If only the two people having the discussion were wiki editors..."
The dev comments about "community knowledge" like the wiki are out there. That said, maybe such things should be a bit more obvious. It's not like a person just didn't learn it. Usually they're trying to teach an alt or just skipping ahead a step or two, which can be amazingly simple to do if you don't know the steps.

This, among several other pages need re-wrtes. I have half-finished documents of several on my now defunct hard drive. But you're right. Several of us could add it.mvgulik wrote:Feel free to add it.
(If anything, you could have done so the moment you wrote that down.)
