Mulberry trees seeds/branches

Does a mulberry tree have a limited amount of these or something? I seem to have a bunch of trees that haven't respawned either branches or seeds for days now. I thought at first that someone kept taking it on a daily basis, but apparently this doesn't seem to be the case.

Well it's been several days now, and I suppose that at least one tree should've been hit by the decay thingie by now. Short conclusion, the trees are bugged.

No, decay is quite random. If you have a palisade, you may notice how some sections are in pristine condition after weeks. Basically, a tree could go for months or years without getting hit.
