Excavated boulders do not inherit skills/credos

• Have miner credo
• extracted lead ore boulder
• lead ore does not have "well mined" when chipped
• otherwise mined ore does

One ore from one miner with credo lit by one torch, but still the two parts melt differently, which prevents the ore from smelt with 9 coal.
Сan i find out if the problem is the stones chipping off the boulder?

Chipped stones dont get well mined, or any of the skills (tunnelling, deep artifice, metallurgy) applied.

So yeah chipping ore is pretty bad in general.

When i get a boulder and chip it, it doesn't get the well-mined buff on the ore. (the thing where it needs less coal).

Resulting in having to sort the ore piles and whatnot.

Intentional or not?

Yeah, I noticed that too. Wasn't a huge fan of mining out a section of wall for a ore I was after, and in turn getting a bolder that gives me no bonuses (except maybe a few extra quantity? But what is quantity worth vs quality race in this game)
