Before anyone asks, Yes the wild horses are tethered and not in combat stance.
For a week now I had two instances of two horses of mine disappearing when they're tethered and another weird part is, one is always stuck at 15% tame and when the other one reaches 75% both of them miraculously disappear before the next taming session. The first instance happened 4days ago and the next one like 20mins ago.
I dunno what I'm doing wrong for them to be always disappearing.. Is it possible that the two hitching posts are bugged for it to do this?

We had the same issue just yesterday. It went to combat stance and just disappeared. Without running out of time or loosing progress... It is really annoying for people with work and fixed schedules.

Re: Tethered Horses disappearing
If a tethered animal walks across a map grid it becomes untethered, allowing it to despawn if it's a wild one. Most likely, you built your animal pen on the border of two map grids, and they keep crossing them.
Most custom clients have an option to display the map grid on the minimap.
Happened to me and it was really frustrating, hope it gets fixed soon.

I've checked and the map grid is far from where the hitching post is. Another thing to note of is the person who owns the claim dies and reinherit it during the incident. maybe during that short time the tether had been undone?linkfanpc wrote:If a tethered animal walks across a map grid it becomes untethered, allowing it to despawn if it's a wild one.
